Vilnius Airport, Travel Retail Vilnius duty free reopens
Travel Retail Vilnius, a subsidiary of Gebr. Heinemann, has reopened the duty free and travel value shop in the Schengen area of Vilnius Airport, after a renovation related to the modernization of the airport.
The new walk-through store covers 1,300 square meters, about 55% more than the previous shopping area, and is integrated into the flows of departing passengers to make shopping easier and more immediate.
The offer includes beauty, perfumery, confectionery, wines and spirits, accessories, jewelry, sunglasses and travel items. An area of about 300 square meters is dedicated to beauty, with a selection of niche perfumery.
There is also ample space for local products: about 240 square meters are reserved for Lithuanian excellence, from food to designers, up to leather goods, textiles, linen and gourmet specialties.
For passengers, the reopening means a broader, more modern shopping experience linked to the identity of the destination. The opening of the new shop in the Non-Schengen area is also expected by the end of the year.
