Vienna Airport Duty Free Extended
The new store in Terminal 1 offers a wider range with new fashion brands, regional products and modern design
Gebr. Heinemann has expanded its store in Terminal 1 at Vienna Airport, bringing the floor space to around 2,000 m², making it the largest travel retail experience in Austria. The new space allows it to offer a wider selection of in-demand products, including sunglasses, leather goods, sneakers and niche perfumes.
In addition, the range of regional products, such as Mozartkugeln and Sachertorte, has been expanded. The design of the store is inspired by the stalls of the Viennese Naschmarkt and includes innovative digital elements.
This expansion marks an important step forward in improving the shopping experience of travelers at the airport supported by a long-standing collaboration between Vienna Airport and Gebr. Heinemann.
Gebr. Heinemann has been operating stores at Vienna Airport since 2003 and now has nine, totaling 4,800 m². The company will open a new 3,200 m² store in 2027, with the extension of the South Terminal and the partnership with the airport has been extended until 2034.
