New retail experience in Belfast
Lagardère Travel Retail and Belfast International Airport have inaugurated a new phase of their historic partnership, revolutionizing the terminal's retail offering with the opening of the new Aelia Duty Free walkthrough. The project marks a significant evolution for the airport, thanks to a proposal that blends prestigious international brands and local excellence, enhancing the Northern Irish identity.
Among the most anticipated novelties, the introduction of the Jo Malone and Rituals brands, which will soon be joined by Charlotte Tilbury and Creed.
The gastronomic experience is renewed with the debut of White Star Coffee Co., an innovative catering concept inspired by the territory, which further enriches the airport's food & beverage offer.
The flagship of the new layout is Discover Belfast, a space dedicated to the soul of the region, integrated within the Aelia Duty Free. Here, travelers can discover iconic products related to local history and culture, such as the Titanic, built in the famous Harland and Wolff shipyards, and buy exclusive souvenirs , typical sweets and creations of native brands.
The project also aims to enhance and internationalise Northern Irish brands, thanks to the collaboration with companies such as McConnell's Irish Whisky, Born & Bred and Boatyard Distillery, which will thus be able to reach a global audience.
