Lagardère Travel Retail expands at Düsseldorf Airport

Lagardère Travel Retail has been awarded a master concession for Travel Essentials at Düsseldorf Airport, following a European tender. The concession provides for the opening of eleven new stores, including eight RELAY brand stores, two "Discover" concept stores dedicated to souvenirs and one " Affenbande" children's concept store. In addition, a hybrid store is planned that combines RELAY with Marché Café, developed by Lagardère's subsidiary, Marché.

 

 

The opening of the first stores is scheduled for the first quarter of 2026. With these new openings, Lagardère will operate a total of 21 points of sale at Düsseldorf Airport, strengthening its presence in the German travel retail market.
