Lagardère Travel Retail expands its restaurants at Düsseldorf Airport
Six new gastronomic concepts for a unique travel retail experience: Papa Pepe, Rheinbissen, bona'me, Popeyes and EL&N London
Lagardère Travel Retail Germany has been awarded the management of six new catering areas at Düsseldorf Airport, strengthening its presence in the travel retail sector. The project introduces an innovative mix of international brands, new concepts and authentic local hospitality, guaranteeing a diversified and high-quality offer.
A culinary offer that combines innovation and tradition
The new spaces, which span 1,600 square meters, will offer a wide range of dining options for airport passengers, visitors and employees, combining quality food, digital experience and modern design. Among the most anticipated news:
► Papa Pepe: authentic Neapolitan cuisine with artisanal pizzas and arancini,
► Rheinbissen: traditional Rhine cuisine with local specialties and craft beers,
► Bona'me: the iconic Kurdish-Turkish cuisine, for the first time in an airport,
► Popeyes: famous New Orleans fast food debuts in Germany,
► EL&N London: London's trendiest café, perfect for Instagram.
► Papa Pepe: authentic Neapolitan cuisine with artisanal pizzas and arancini,
► Rheinbissen: traditional Rhine cuisine with local specialties and craft beers,
► Bona'me: the iconic Kurdish-Turkish cuisine, for the first time in an airport,

The project is part of the expansion strategy of Düsseldorf Airport, aiming to improve the quality of catering and passenger reception. With this award, Lagardère Travel Retail confirms its leadership in the travel retail sector, bringing the total number of points of sale at the airport to 27 between restaurants and retail.
