Milan Bergamo Airport has formed a partnership with Kiwi, a pioneer in developing technological solutions for the travel sector, launching “Bergamolynk”, a new service for managing and facilitating the journeys of passengers in transit.

We spoke with Giacomo Cattaneo, Director of Commercial Aviation of SACBO S.p.A. to understand how this service works and what are the advantages for passengers and the airport.

What is “Bergamolynk” and how does it work?
Bergamolynk is a product developed to make the self-connect service smarter for passengers transiting through our airport. In this way, customers choosing the service can plan their flight using Milan Bergamo Airport as a connection hub, but also make use of other special services.”

Why was Kiwi chosen as a partner for this self-connect service?
Kiwi was chosen because of its considerable experience, being a world-renowned pioneer in this sector. By choosing Kiwi as partner, we were confident that the product would be a success among our customers, who are continually seeking opportunities for fast, seamless connections from our airport, which currently offers passengers the opportunity to reach more than 130 destinations worldwide.”

How will Milan Bergamo Airport benefit from this service?
“The main benefit is that this product will provide passengers with an additional service, suited to all types of customers, which transforms a stopover at our airport into an opportunity to connect rapidly and seamlessly with the world without, however, taking the joy out of travelling.”

What is the procedure at the airport for transiting passengers?
“In the arrivals area, passengers will easily identify the path that takes them to the departure area thanks to symbols and signs for the Bergamolynk service, which leads them to the Fast Track entrance ahead of the security checkpoints.”

What are the advantages offered by Milan Bergamo Airport to passengers using Bergamolynk?
Passengers who purchase Bergamolynk can make use of a series of advantages such as quick access to the airside area for shopping in the airport retail stores or food outlets thanks to a baggage check-in service located in our VIP lounge and access to the fast track entrance, which allows them to jump the queues to the security checkpoints through a special entrance. In addition, via the Bergamolynk website passengers can purchase self-connect flights with the Kiwi.com guarantee, which will take care not only to create the most suitable itinerary but also handle any unexpected problems that may occur during the journey. On the subject of airport shoppingpassengers using bergamolynk will find with their booking a €10 voucher to use at participating airport stores when spending more than €40.”

Here is a selection of the latest news among the flowery notes chosen by the editorial staff.

Trussardi Parfums
Pink Marina, an eau de toilette for women by Trussardi Parfums, is dedicated to special summer times on the beach. Natalie Lorson of Firmenich has created an olfactory accent in which the sparkling notes of pink grapefruit blend with the fresh accords of melon sorbet and the lively energy of lemon juice. This fresh, bright opening gives way to a refined harmony and unique accord between neroli, sand lily and sea salt. Closing the scent are the sensual and creamy notes of sandalwood and citron over patchouli.

Collistar
The exclusive Rituale di Benessere set with 100 ml Profumo di Benessere Aromatic Water and 250 ml Doccia di Benessere Shower Cream by Collistar is available in a limited edition. The perfume is a concentrate of freshness and vigour with notes of bergamot and orange blossom enhanced by ylang ylang, jasmine, with a base of sandalwood, vetiver and musk enriched with toning extracts of ginkgo biloba and ginseng. The perfume is paired with the fresh, toning, energising, moisturising Doccia di Benessere, enriched with plant extracts of mallow and linden.  A precious moment of absolute well-being.
L'Occitane en Provence
In the heart of Provence, a new floral, fresh and bright scent embodies the heart of pure, uncontrolled and wild nature. Herbae par L'Occitane L'Eau is the perfect combination of white clover, wild herbs and citrusy accords. Head notes: the union of lemon essential oil and angelica seeds. Heart notes: the perfect blend of white clover, Egyptian jasmine absolute and marshmallow. Base notes: a blend of blond wood, musk and wild herbs. A touch of freedom in a pure, bright, delicate cocktail.

Moschino
Toy Boy for men by Moschino is an exclusive scent that reinterprets elegance with irony for the unique, dynamic and passionate man who has a gentle, playful side. The fragrance contains innovative ingredients and delicious accords of a spicy, woody and amber group. Among the many perfumed notes are Italian bergamot, magnolia, rose hips, cloves, Elemi buds, Haitian vetiver and Indonesia nutmeg. The scent is enclosed in a beautiful bottle made of black lacquered glass with silver finish.

Mandarina Duck
The Duckers is the genderless line by Mandarina Duck preferred by globetrotters who love to travel.
For the most adventurous and lovers of nature, there’s Into the Jungle, a fragrance created by Marion Costero, master perfumer of Givaudan. With a blend of ingredients from Italy, France, Brazil, North Africa and Haiti, Into the Jungle has the exotic appeal of a feline in the jungle.
Head notes: Italian lemon, French lavender, Brazilian green mandarin, North African rosemary and rhubarb. Flowery heart notes give way to base notes of amber, oak moss, musk and Haitian vetiver.

Ferragamo
Amo Hair Mist by Ferragamo is a very light spray for the hair with quick-dry effect. It is an alternative to a classic perfume for summer evenings, for a touch of unique elegance. Leaving the hair neither wet nor dry, with just one spray it swathes the hair in sparkling notes that are rekindled with every movement.
A fresh, sensual beauty ritual that is enhanced by accords of Tahitian White Vanilla, Ambrox, Jasmine Sambac and the brilliance of Mate Absolute.
Blumarine
Mon Bouquet Blanc by Blumarine is a fragrance dedicated to brides. A perfume created to make their important day even more special and to bring back memories each time it is worn. Véronique Nyberg, the nose behind the fragrance, has given the scent top notes of sugared almonds and two special molecules with intense green and citrusy notes and deep aquatic tones. These notes open to a floral heart of May rose, ylang ylang and osmanthus. The base notes include a sensual blend of patchouli, cypriol (or nagarmotha) and tonka bean.

Issey Miyake
Innovation and poetry are the principles behind the fashion and fragrances of the designer Issey Miyake. The feminine scent L’Eau d’Issey Igo is enclosed in a striking conical bottle of frosted glass with a metallic lid crowned by a sphere - a design that poetically echoes the moon perched on top of the Eiffel Tower. Created by Jacques Cavallier, the fragrance celebrates the lightness of petals infused in water: lotus flowers and rosewater in the head notes meet a heart of white flowers, while at the base, musk and woody notes bring fresh sensuality.
