Ferretti Yachts 940
An elegant floating home that redefines the standards of living on board: the new Ferretti Yachts 940 was unveiled for the first time at the Venice Boat Show, fully embodying the "Just Like Home" philosophy. Each cruise thus becomes an immersive experience, made up of refinement, relaxation and freedom.
The Ferretti Yachts 940 welcomes guests in generous and convivial environments, combining sophisticated design and functional architectural solutions to offer a new dimension of well-being. With an overall length of 28.97 meters and a maximum beam of 6.76 meters, it is the first widebody model of this size in the shipyard's range.
The layout includes five cabins: an owner's suite on the main deck and four guest cabins on the lower deck. The floor-to-ceiling glass walls offer an extraordinary panoramic view of the sea, while the horizontal lines of the external profile emphasize dynamism and visual lightness.
The project is the result of the collaboration between the Product Strategy Committee, chaired by Ing. Piero Ferrari, and the Ferretti Group's Engineering Department, with the exterior design by Filippo Salvetti and the interiors by IdeaeItalia.
Main Deck: open-air elegance
From the stern there is access to a generous 32 m² cockpit, which can be customised with opposing sofas or Minotti furnishings, and equipped with a glass parapet that expands the view of the bathing platform. The transom integrates the garage for tenders up to 4.10 m, which can be varied via a platform with pantograph system.
The main salon extends for almost 30 m², with large glass surfaces that amplify natural light and the feeling of continuity between inside and outside. The living area, furnished with a Minotti sofa, is completed by a low TV cabinet or, optionally, by a second sofa or storage cabinet with a retractable TV.
Amidships is the dining area for eight people with Bonaldo Art table, connected to the galley on the left, with independent access to the crew area and the Raised Pilot House.
The owner's cabin occupies the entire width of the hull (27 m²), with a king-size bed, walk-in closet, Silver Roots marble vanity cabinet and full beam en suite bathroom with marble shower and smoked glass wall.
The interiors are offered in two moods: Classic, with warm and natural tones, and Contemporary, inspired by marine colors.
Upper Deck: panoramic conviviality
The 50 m² flybridge is designed to experience the sea in total freedom, with a dining area for nine people, an outdoor kitchen with Minotti counter and stools, a counter-bridge and a fixed or openable slatted hard top.
The structural arch integrated into the rear gunwale gives dynamism and elegance. The aft area is fully customizable with sunbeds or freestanding furniture by Talenti and Minotti.
Lower Deck: Refined hospitality
Four guest cabins (three VIP and one with sliding beds), all with en-suite bathrooms, guarantee maximum comfort and privacy. The crew area, in the bow, includes a dinette, a captain's cabin and a double cabin, both with independent bathrooms. As an option, the captain's cabin can be doubled, bringing the number of crew seats to four.
Performance and propulsion
The Ferretti Yachts 940 can be equipped with MAN V12 - 2000 mHp (25 knots top speed, 21 cruising) or MAN V12X - 2200 mHp (27 knots, 23 cruising) engines. The CE certification in Class A places it at the top of the category for yachts under 24 meters in homologated length. A perfect balance between design, technique and style for an unparalleled sailing experience.
