Relaxation and adventure in the tropical paradise of the island of Mauritius
Water activities, whale watching, seaplane and yoga on the beach on the island with crystal clear waters
The Indian Ocean bathes the enchanting beaches of the island of Mauritius, where many have fine white sand, others are characterized by wild cliffs, but all offer breathtaking views, enchanting sunsets and countless possibilities to enjoy the sea.

Snorkeling and scuba diving
The island is home to more than a hundred dive sites with levels suitable for both experienced divers and beginners. For example, Ti Corail, accessible to all as it is shallow, is considered one of the most beautiful coral reefs, with a myriad of wildlife, including lionfish, stonefish and moray eels, up to submerged wrecks that form incredible artificial coral reefs.

The Cathedral, on the other hand, is a site where the deep differences in height create a cliff that merges with huge boulders to create an exciting topography of caves and arches. But you can also, more simply, snorkel and admire colorful fish, for example in the Blue Bay Marine Park.
Surfing and kitesurfing
Mauritius is one of the best destinations in the world for kitesurfing. There are fantastic surf spots all over the island, but it is the south that is renowned for strong and constant trade winds, especially between April and November. One Eye, in Pointe du Morne, or Cap Dal, in Tamarin, are the most famous areas of the island: you can learn in the lagoon or hone your technique on the waves.

Parasailing
This adrenaline-pumping activity involves a specially designed parachute, towed by a speedboat that lifts it into the air. Climbing to about 60 meters, you gain an unforgettable perspective of Mauritius from above. Grand Baie, Ile Aux Cerfs, and Belle Mare are all fantastic places to try this exciting activity, which repays the courage of those who undertake it with a bird's eye view of the island's beautiful beaches and crystal-clear waters.

Wakeboarding
There's no better place to experience it than Mauritius, thanks to its shallow, crystal-clear lagoons. How does that work? The principle is very simple: a wakeboard is attached with a rope (the length of which increases as you gain experience) to a motorboat that tows it: the most experienced try their hand at virtuous aerial acrobatics, but falling into the water while learning is also part of the fun!

Kayaking and paddle boarding
Explore mangrove-lined bays or, going inland, sail along tranquil rivers, looking for monkeys and fruit bats along the shady shores. Or cool off in waterfalls and paddle past caves and inlets, mooring to take in the views.

The longest river in Mauritius, the Grand River South East is ready to welcome all adventurers who wish to discover the island. A more "maritime" alternative is paddleboarding, perfect for the transparent lagoons on the coast or for the small rivers with hidden waterfalls.
Whale Sightings
In Mauritius, you can spot dolphins and whales, especially along the west coast. Dolphins and sperm whales can be observed all year round, while humpback whales migrate transiting Mauritius from July to November.

Seaplane
Mauritius from another point of view, with the seaplane! Of course, the opportunity to admire this amazing destination with different eyes could not be missed. A seaplane will take off from the water to allow visitors to get a peek at the entire palette of blue with which the Indian Ocean is painted, the emerald green of the vegetation, the tiny islands and the sparkling white beaches. From up there it will also be possible to take breathtaking photos of the Le Morne mountain and the underwater waterfall, an optical illusion due to a variation in the depth of the seabed, the sand deposits and the changing color of the sea waters that create an amazing ephemeral landscape.

Yoga on the beach
And for those who prefer to relax... Yoga on the beach. The island of Mauritius is considered a spiritual destination, capable of healing the body and mind, not only thanks to the unspoiled landscapes, but also with the help of specialists who offer relaxing treatments, yoga classes and other disciplines to reconnect with oneself. In particular, yoga is offered in various outdoor places, such as piers on the water and pavilions perched on lush hills, allowing you to restore the psychophysical balance compromised by the stress of everyday life.
