Ireland West Airport Knock’s is fourth international airport of Ireland and the main international air access gateway for the West, North West and Midland regions of Ireland. The Airport serves more than 25 scheduled and charter destinations across Ireland, the UK, Europe and beyond. The new terminal expansion was completed in 2009.

Train

The nearest railway station to Ireland West Airport Knock is Claremorris (31 km) or Ballyhaunis (22km), both on the Dublin Heuston–Westport line. These stations can be accessed by airport cabs or bus services. Iarnród Éireann is the nationwide rail transport company.  Their InterCity services run from Dublin’s Heuston and Connolly Stations to Sligo, Ballina, Westport and Galway.

 

Bus

The Bus service (Eireann) operates coach services to Ireland West Airport Knock from Galway, Sligo, Donegal and Mayo.

 

Car

Located in County Mayo, the Airport is on the main N17 North – South road, halfway between Galway and Sligo and a 90 minutes drive of all major cities and towns including Castlebar, Ballina, Galway, Sligo, Donegal, Longford, Leitrim and Roscommon. Knock Distance: 20 Km by the N17.
