The Burgas Airport is located in Sarafovo and serves the city of Burgas, a tourist center on the southern Black Sea coast of Bulgaria. After the Sofia Airport it is the second airport of Bulgaria.
 
The Burgas Airport serves the south-east of Bulgaria and offers connections to destinations in different countries.
 
Fraport Twin Star Airport Management AD is the German-Bulgarian concessionaire of the Burgas Airport and Varna Airport. The company, which is 60% owned by Fraport AG and 40% owned by Airport Services Bulgaria, operates both airports on the Black Sea coast.
 
Burgas Airport has a new passenger terminal with large areas for arriving and departing passengers, modern systems for handling passengers and baggage and shopping areas.

Transport to/from the airport
Bus
Bus available from the Central Bus Station of the city of Burgas to / from Burgas Airport.
 
The bus stop at the airport is outside the departures terminal. The bus takes you to the Central Bus Station of Burgas, from here you can take a bus or a small minibus to the nearby towns located to the south and north of the city.
 
Car
From Burgas to the airport: by car on the Road 9 for about 10 Km, in only 12 minutes. Vice versa from the airport to the city.
 
Taxi
On the territory of Burgas airport the taxi services are provided by company “Eko taxi”. (Info: www.ekotaxiburgas.com)

Car hire
The major car rental companies operate at the Burgas Airport and the offices are located at the Arrivals Level.
