Bolzano

Bolzano – Dolomiti Airport, also commonly called San Giacomo Airport, is situated in the area of San Giacomo, some 6 km from the city centre of Bolzano (the capital of Sud Tyrol).
The Management company, ABD Airport S.p.A., initiated a schedule of works that saw the inauguration of the renovated structure in 1999 with a runway of 1,400 metres, a new passenger terminal, two hangars and a control tower.
 
Bolzano Airport offers business and sport air service as well as charter flights to and from Bolzano. Helicopter service to and from Innsbruck, Munich, Verona, Milan, St. Moritz and other destinations.

The nearest railway station is Bolzano Bozen or Bolzano Sud (stop at Bolzano Trade Fair Centre with Trenitalia). From here take a taxi for the airport.

There are public buses travelling to the airport. There is a bus stop at the start of the road leading to the airport (approx. 600 m) managed by a local transport company (SASA). 
 
Car
From the Brennero Motorway, take the Bolzano Sud exit and follow the directions for the airport of Bolzano (approximately 3 km).
