Bmi Regional

On 16 February 2019 BMI is no longer able to operate any flights to and from the UK and within Europe.
 
In the past Bmi Regional was known as Business Air, a privately owned airline, that was acquired by the British Midland group in 1997. British Midland sold the business in 2012 to IAG (British Airways), who then sold bmi regional to SAH.
 
Bmi Regional was part of Airline Investments Limited (AIL) Group, a regional airline business made up of two airlines: Bmi Regional and Loganair.
 
Bmi Regional operated to European countries and also in codeshare with Turkish Airlines, Loganair, Air FranceLufthansa Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Air Dolomiti.
 
The airline operated with Embraer 145 ER4 (with 49 seats) and 18 Embraer 135 ER3 (with 37 seats).
The ERJ is a low wing T-tail aircraft powered by two rear mounted turbo fans with a cruising speed of 500 mph and cruising altitude of 37,000 feet.
