The exhibition "SEA MAG on Display" at Malpensa

Until 9 June, passengers departing from the non-Schengen area of Terminal 1 can visit an exhibition that tells the story of SEA's people, values and corporate culture through contemporary illustration

On the occasion of Milan Design Week 2026, SEA brings an exhibition to Milan Malpensa Airport that offers passengers a different look at the airport world, focusing not only on infrastructure, but also on the people, values and ideas that accompany its daily activities.

From 21 April, travellers departing from the non-Schengen area of Terminal 1 can visit "SEA MAG on Display", an exhibition dedicated to SEA MAG, the illustrated magazine created by the company for its employees and now transformed into a project also open to the public.

For the first time, SEA chooses to share a part of its internal culture with passengers through a direct and contemporary visual language, that of illustration. The exhibition includes the first five editions of the magazine, each created with the contribution of a different artist: Marta Signori, Giordano Poloni, Marco Brancato, Ludovica Fantetti and Clara Fois.

Each issue interprets identity themes, corporate values and central aspects of SEA's culture in an original way, using design and graphics as tools to make often complex content more immediate. The project thus aims to make visible a dimension of the airport that normally remains in the background: that of the community of people who support its operation every day.

For passengers, the exhibition also represents an opportunity to experience the time before the flight in a different way, transforming the wait into a moment of observation and discovery. In a space usually associated with departures, movement and speed, the exhibition introduces a more reflective element, linked to visual reading and narration.

SEA MAG was born as an internal communication project, developed to transform the company magazine into a space for creative experimentation. Each issue addresses issues relevant to the company through the contribution of the people who work there, creating a dialogue between different skills, experiences and languages.

The exhibition, which can be visited until 9 June 2026, displays the original materials created for the first five issues of the magazine: sketches, sketches, hand-drawn drawings and final plates, thus offering a glimpse into the creative process behind each edition and creating an ideal connection with the daily work necessary for the management of a complex international airport like Milan Malpensa.
