Milan Linate Runway Run
The Milano Linate Runway Run, organized by MG Sport, offers the opportunity to run in a scenario normally reserved for airport operations, including runway, signal lights and stationary aircraft. In fact, on Friday 19 June 2026, the runway at Milan Linate airport will be transformed for one night into a running route with a non-competitive 10-kilometer race and departure scheduled for 11:59 pm.
The participants' experience captures the different stages of an air journey. Check-in at 20:00 for the collection of the bib and boarding pass (access times vary according to the Economy, Business, First Class registration class), followed by security checks and access to the dedicated gate. The closing of the gate and hangar set for 11:45 pm.
Runners also comply with normal stopover safety restrictions for liquids, glass containers, sharp or pointed objects, and flammable materials. Only backpacks or small bags are allowed, while other personal belongings are deposited. No strollers or pets are allowed.
The race kit includes bib with chip, front light and official jersey. Timekeeping, refreshments, technical and health assistance are also included. The maximum time allowed to finish the 10 kilometers is one hour and 40 minutes with prizes for the first 3 men and the first 3 women.
The event is the result of articulated teamwork, which combines organization, operational skills and rigorous safety procedures. Thus, for one night, the Milan Linate (LIN) track becomes a truly exceptional sporting setting .
