DoubleTree by Hilton at Linate Airport District
SEA Aeroporti di Milano, ChorusLife Linate – a company of the COSTIM Group – and HNH Hospitality have unveiled the opening of the DoubleTree by Hilton®, the new four-star hotel that will be built within the areas of Milan Linate Airport.
The project is currently being approved by SEA and, subsequently, by ENAC, with the official opening scheduled for the first half of 2028.
The new structure will become a key piece in the development of the Linate Airport District (LAD), a broader urban regeneration and enhancement project that adopts the highest standards of environmental sustainability, quality and hospitality.
The hotel, designed by Studio Tectoo with interiors curated by Studio Marco Piva, will be developed by the COSTIM Group and managed by HNH Hospitality, one of the leading white label operators in Italy.
The DoubleTree by Hilton Milan Linate Airport will offer 216 modern rooms, including 9 suites with views of the Idroscalo, conference spaces, an all-day dining restaurant, a fitness center and lounge areas designed for business and leisure travelers.
The hotel, accessible directly from the terminal and a few steps from the M4 metro line, will allow you to reach San Babila in just 15 minutes, strengthening the attractiveness of the airport and responding to the growing demand for premium hospitality in the Lombard capital.
The Linate Airport District will offer spaces for relaxation and socialization in continuity with the Idroscalo park, Milan's green lung. The total investment for the entire project exceeds 130 million euros, for a state-of-the-art airport that is increasingly integrated with the city and capable of offering more services.
Linate Airport District: urban regeneration and smart city
The Linate Airport District (LAD) transforms the area in front of the Idroscalo into a district open to passengers and citizens with public squares, integrated cycle and pedestrian paths and technologies for intelligent service management.
The masterplan includes: 14,000 square meters of public green space; 10,000 square meters dedicated to the hotel; 25,000 square meters of new generation offices and services ; LEED and WELL environmental certification targets and the integration of a Smart Grid for the digital management of the district.
The scope also includes the new offices of SEA and functions for ENAC. The management model takes up the experience of the smart districts already developed by COSTIM, guaranteeing direct accessibility to the terminal and proximity to the M4 line, for a green and connected urban hub that projects Milan Linate Airport (LIN) into the future.
