At Milan Malpensa the exhibition "She's Not Your Muse"
At Milan Malpensa Airport, the ArtHUB space in Terminal 1 hosts the exhibition "She's Not Your Muse" by Giulia Caruso, curated by Luciano Bolzoni. The exhibition, which opened on March 5, 2026, is open to the public until June 5, 2026 in the Food Court area of the terminal.
The initiative is part of the calendar of events related to International Women's Day on 8 March and transforms the airport into a place of contemporary art and cultural reflection, offering passengers an experience that goes beyond travel.
A city of the women of the future
Giulia Caruso's works tell of imagined female figures, not attributable to current society: women who have yet to arrive. The artist's path
Giulia Caruso was born into an Italian family and spent her early years between the Sahara and South Africa, experiences that fueled her curiosity about cultures and travel. She grew up in Pavia and studied fashion styling at Istituto Marangoni in Milan, and then graduated in Media and Cultural Studies at the London College of Communication.
After work experiences between Paris and teaching in Pavia, she began painting in Ibiza in 2018, inspired by the feminine energy and nature of the island. Today she lives and works south of Milan, developing projects and installations in collaboration with companies and institutions, with research focused on women's empowerment at national and international level.
