Wizz Air reopens flights to Tel Aviv
Wizz Air will resume operations to and from Tel Aviv from Thursday 28 May, reactivating connections with Israel and making several routes to major European destinations available again.
The decision comes after EASA's latest update and is part of the company's ongoing coordination with international and local authorities, including aviation and safety authorities. Wizz Air emphasizes that the resumption of flights is taking a prudent approach, keeping the safety of passengers and crew as a priority.
Tickets are already available with hundreds of thousands of seats on sale. For Travellers, the return of flights to Tel Aviv represents an important step in restoring connectivity between Israel and Europe, both for those traveling for tourism and for those traveling for family, personal or professional reasons.
Wizz Air will continue to monitor the evolution of the situation, remaining in contact with aviation safety agencies, competent authorities and government bodies. Schedules will be constantly reviewed and schedules may be changed according to official industry indications.
With the resumption of connections to Tel Aviv, the company strengthens its presence in Israel and confirms the country's role within its network.
