New flights from Brindisi and Pescara to Bucharest

Wizz Air strengthens its network between Italy and Romania with the introduction of two new annual routes from Brindisi and Pescara to Bucharest. From the end of October 2025, it will be possible to reach the lively Romanian capital directly, with regular frequencies and competitive fares.

The connection from Brindisi will be operational from 26 October, with two weekly flights every Wednesday and Sunday, while from Pescara it will be possible to fly from 28 October, with three weekly frequencies: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. The new routes will be served by Airbus A321neo aircraft, known for their high energy efficiency and lower environmental impact. 

Bucharest is confirmed as a destination of great appeal for the Italian market: with its grandiose architecture, lively creative districts, rich historical heritage and strategic location for visiting Transylvania and the Carpathians, it is ideal for both city breaks and longer cultural trips.

Wizz Air consolidates its leadership in the connection between the two shores of the Adriatic. With the addition of the new routes, the number of active connections between Italy and Romania rises to 47, while the total number of routes operated to/from Italy is close to 210. In the first half of 2025 alone, the company recorded almost 10 million bookings to and from our country, with a flight completion rate of 99.7%.
