New flight between Malpensa and Sal Cape Verde with easyJet
easyJet expands its international network and announces a new destination of great appeal for the Italian market: from 29 October 2025 the new direct flight from Milan Malpensa to the island of Sal, in the Cape Verde archipelago, will be operational. The connection will be available twice a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and represents the only direct flight between the Lombard airport and the Cape Verdean island, confirming the company's commitment to making exclusive leisure destinations increasingly accessible.
Sal, the gateway to one of the most beautiful archipelagos in the Atlantic, is famous for its golden beaches, crystal clear waters and mild climate all year round, with temperatures between 23°C and 30°C. The relaxed atmosphere, Creole culture, and vibrant local music scene make it an ideal destination for those seeking relaxation, authenticity, and unspoiled nature.
With this new route, easyJet strengthens the winter offer from Milan, bringing the destinations served by Malpensa and Linate airports to 71 and responding to the growing demand for direct flights to exotic destinations. The novelty is part of an expansion plan that also involves other European markets, with new routes to and from Cape Verde departing from Portugal and the United Kingdom.
"This new route enriches the portfolio of destinations that easyJet operates from Milan Malpensa and represents further confirmation of our commitment to making unique and fascinating destinations increasingly accessible to our Italian customers," said Lorenzo Lagorio, Country Manager of easyJet Italy.
