Emirates and Aegean strengthen partnership

Mutual benefits for frequent flyers and access to a combined network of over 200 destinations and direct connectivity to 14 Greek cities, four European cities and Dubai via Athens

Emirates and the AEGEAN Group have strengthened their collaboration to offer exclusive benefits to members of their respective frequent flyer programmes. From May, Emirates Skywards members will be able to earn and redeem Miles on all flights operated by AEGEAN and its subsidiary Olympic Air, covering 162 destinations in Europe, the Middle East and North Africa

From 21 May (subject to any technical or operational updates), members of AEGEAN's Miles+Bonus programme will also be able to earn and redeem Miles on all Emirates flights, benefiting from the airline's extensive global network, which has over 140 destinations on six continents.

More routes, more rewards

The codeshare agreement between Emirates and AEGEAN continues to provide travellers with seamless connectivity to 14 Greek cities, four European cities and Dubai via Athens. In addition, AEGEAN passengers can access Emirates flights from Athens to Newark and Dubai, further expanding their travel options.

As part of the expansion of the agreement, Emirates Skywards members will be able to:

  • Earn up to 1.25 Miles for every mile flown, depending on the class of travel and fare type, on all AEGEAN flights.
  • Redeem Miles for flight awards with both airlines from 8,000 Miles for a one-way ticket in Economy Class and 17,500 Miles for a ticket in Business Class.

At the same time, members of AEGEAN's Miles+Bonus program will have the opportunity to:

  • Earn Award Miles on all eligible Emirates flights, based on the fare purchased.
  • Redeem Award Miles on Emirates Economy and Business Class tickets to over 140 destinations globally.

The new phase of the partnership was officially celebrated last week during the Arabian Travel Market (ATM), in the presence of Dr Nejib Ben Khedher, Divisional Senior Vice President of Emirates Skywards, and Elias Mandroukas, Deputy Chief Commercial Officer, Digital and Marketing at AEGEAN.
