Workshop for Apulian excellence in travel retail
Over one hundred companies meet the world leader Lagardère Travel Retail thanks to the initiative promoted by Aeroporti di Puglia and Unioncamere Puglia
Over one hundred Apulian companies, specialized in local excellences such as wines, oil, spirits, handicrafts, pasta and fashion, participated in a workshop organized by Aeroporti di Puglia in collaboration with Unioncamere Puglia and the EEN network. The event was attended by the Lagardère Travel Retail group, a global leader in retail sales at airports, train stations and motorways.
The meeting represented an important opportunity for Apulian companies to learn about the dynamics and opportunities offered by travel retail, allowing them to access an international market. The workshop was opened by the greeting of the Mayor of Brindisi, Giuseppe Marchionna, and involved important figures such as Antonio Maria Vasile, President of Aeroporti di Puglia, and Alberto Niero, CEO Lagardère Travel Retail Italia.
Numerous individual meetings between Apulian companies and representatives of Lagardère Travel Retail allowed local companies to explore the possibilities of collaboration and expansion in the global market. Aeroporti di Puglia and Unioncamere underlined the importance of travel retail as a vehicle for promoting regional excellence and growth for small and medium-sized enterprises.
