Dior's Ready to Wear Collection for the summer

The Dior Spring-Summer 20206 Ready-to-Wear collection stems from a reflection on the Maison's heritage and the way in which its history can be preserved, reinterpreted and projected into the future.

Dior's language evokes empathy towards its history and its language, which is part of the collective imagination which, in order to preserve it, is reinterpreted through fragments, traces and silhouettes that resurface like memories and find new form in the present.

The collection builds a balance between harmony and tension. Elements drawn from the Maison's long history dialogue with a contemporary vision, letting the silhouette communicate through an essential line, measured volumes and details capable of transforming the dress into a recognizable sign.

The past meets the present, audacity is confronted with calm, the grandiose enters the everyday. Everything passes through Dior's chromatic sensitivity: a delicate and pictorial palette, crossed by unexpected accents, and a sartorial mastery that makes even apparent simplicity precious.

The collection interprets dressing as a way to enter the stage of life. The clothes not only define the appearance, but redesign the attitude, accompanying the Dior woman between movement, emotion, rigor and freedom of expression.

In the Maison's story, change becomes part of the very identity of fashion. History is not erased, but reorganized in new forms, leaving room for a femininity capable of crossing the present with awareness and imagination.
