The return to the origins of Armani/Casa
The new Armani/Casa 2026 collection took shape in the large Milan store in Corso Venezia 14, an emblematic place that preserves the spirit and origins of interior design and living according to Giorgio Armani. It is no coincidence, therefore, that the new exhibition project has the title "Origins": a continuous and articulated story that starts from the most iconic objects of the designer's design and expands to evoke the taste of his homes, translated into a sequence of furnished environments.
At the center of the narrative is the concept of the icon, understood as the most essential and recognizable expression of the Armani vision. Objects that, while evolving over time, keep their value and identity intact. Among these, eight stand out: the BALOON armchair, the SEINE console, the RIESLING bar cabinet, the DUSTIN director's chair, the TOKYO armchair, the WINCHESTER screen, the LOGO lamp and the DANZICA coffee table. Each original piece is accompanied by its updated version.
In the rooms, the new BORGONUOVO game table, the CLASSIC upholstered chairs upholstered in the delicate BRIGHTON jacquard, with a motif inspired by the Armani/Fiori compositions, and the LOGO lamp in the new floor version stand out.
In an environment that recalls the staircase and sculpted black panthers, among the most famous elements of Giorgio Armani's Milanese home, the sofa from the ALBERT series stands out, upholstered in BILBAO linen fabric with stonewashed chenille weave, the armchairs from the same series upholstered in Berlin fabric, floral jacquard with crackle-effect background, the BRERA coffee table and side table in black-stained ash with gold-colored metal edge and small contrasting pull-out trays, as well as the LOGO lamps.
In a more intimate and introspective space, conceived as a refuge dedicated to meditation and relaxation, the furniture includes the new series of PLAY sofas in BRETAGNE fabric, a combed and brushed wool with a particularly soft hand, together with the BYRON armchairs, the low tables, the side table and the bookcase of the PLAY system, which combines natural leather and Canaletto walnut wood.
A glance also points to the moments of vacation shared with loved ones that recalls Pantelleria and accompanies the large BRANDO modular sofa, composed of a single sheet of sandblasted light gray oak on which BOMBAI fabric cushions in chiné silk shantung but also BRANDO curved low tables and RETTA table lamps lie.
"Origins" by Armani/Casa expresses stylistic continuity with a refined vision that combines formal synthesis and attention to the evolution of the present. In the new collection, the Armani sign remains strong and recognizable, inviting a reflection on identity, evolution and the lasting value of shapes.
