Three Bentleys inspired by Rembrandt, Vermeer and Van Gogh
The Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam was the setting for an extraordinary event in which Bentley and Mulliner presented three unique models from the Dutch Masters Collection, a tribute to the excellence of craftsmanship and the great pictorial tradition of the Netherlands. Guests from Bentley's dealerships in Leusden, Rotterdam and Maastricht attended the virtual preview of the cars.
The three creations - a Continental GT Convertible dedicated to Rembrandt, a Continental GT inspired by Vermeer and a Continental GT celebrating Van Gogh - reinterpret the colours, symbols and atmospheres of the famous Flemish artists, transforming the pictorial language into pure automotive design.
Rembrandt - Continental GT Convertible Midnight Emerald
The first of the three cars recalls La Ronda di Notte. The deep green Midnight Emerald of the bodywork accommodates interiors that echo Captain Cocq's scarlet band with touches of Hotspur Red, while the Magnolia leather, inspired by the lieutenant's coat, harmonizes with Cumbrian Green. Matching Piano finishes, golden details and a feather-shaped welcome lamp (a direct reference to the famous painting) complete the customization.
Vermeer - Continental GT Satin Sapphire
The second interpretation pays homage to the clear blues and bright yellows of the Delft scenes. The satin Sapphire bodywork is combined with a panoramic roof that amplifies the brightness, while the interior mixes Ocean Blue, Beluga, Citric Yellow and piping in Klein Blue. The welcome lamp and door panels reproduce the clouds of La Stradina, for a poetic and immersive effect.
Van Gogh - Continental GT Dark Sapphire
The third model pays tribute to the vibrant energy of The Starry Night. The Dark Sapphire bodywork with Khamun pinstripe anticipates a cabin dominated by Imperial Blue, Linen and yellow accents inspired by the famous Indian Yellow used by the artist. The spirals of the night sky are reproduced both in the welcome lamp and on the engraved door panels. The open-pore walnut console and golden details finish a highly evocative whole.
Exclusive details for a unique collection
Each car is accompanied by a personalised key ring box in the colours of the passenger compartment, with dedicated laser engraving (feather, clouds or starry sky). All models include Blackline specification, Touring specification, colour-matched styling kit, Wellness seats, ambient lighting, Bentley Rotating Display and Naim system for Bentley. The three one-of-a-kind pieces in the Dutch Masters Collection combine art and craftsmanship, transforming the works of the great Dutch masters into contemporary masterpieces on four wheels.
