Tempest and Gemini: Discovery excellence in exclusive edition

In its path of continuous evolution, the Land Rover Discovery renews its charm with an unprecedented expression of elegance and versatility, unveiling two exclusive celebratory editions: Tempest and Gemini. Two versions that not only pay homage to the 35-year history of the iconic British SUV, but enhance its most distinctive qualities, combining refined engineering and refined design with solutions designed to accompany every family adventure with style and comfort without compromise.

Discovery Tempest

The new Discovery Tempest presents itself as the maximum expression of luxury and technology ever achieved by the model. A name that has its roots in a secret project from the nineties, when the second generation of the Discovery came to life. Today, that name translates into an edition that expresses visual power and character, through sophisticated details and an unmistakable road presence. 

Three exclusive matte colours (Charente Grey, Varesine Blue and Carpathian Grey) are all combined with Matte Protective Film, introduced for the first time in the range, which emphasises its sculptural and contemporary appearance. The roof, in elegant Petra Copper Gloss, is offered as standard, a refined contrast that is also harmoniously reflected in the side air intakes, bumper details and "Discovery" lettering, all finely finished in polished copper.

Completing the silhouette of the Tempest are 22" Diamond Turned Style 5124 wheels, embellished with a Petra Copper finish with Gloss Black inserts, exclusive to this edition. Every detail, from the customised entrance sills to the access lights to the B-pillars, tells a story of obsessive attention to detail, while the cabin welcomes occupants into an environment finished with fine Windsor leather and Shadow Aluminium inserts. Here, the spiral "Tempest" graphic comes to life, evoking movement, energy, and the invisible force that animates every journey.

Discovery Gemini

While the Tempest embodies the pinnacle of technical and stylistic excellence, the new Discovery Gemini pays homage to the mechanical heart that marked the model's origins: the legendary TDI diesel engine, introduced in 1989. 

And it is precisely from the code name of that engine that the Gemini was born, a modern tribute to refined British engineering. Elegance is available in six colors, including the new Sedona Red, exclusive to this version, enriched by a contrasting roof in Narvik Gloss Black. The overall effect is dynamic yet measured, enhanced by gloss black elements that define the air intakes, the lower part of the body and the front grille chassis.

The visual signature of this edition is the double hexagon "Gemini" graphic, present on the pillars, on the illuminated sills and inside the passenger compartment, which recalls the geometries of the grille and symbolizes the duality between innovation and tradition. The new 21" Style 7001 double-spoke wheels complete the aesthetic balance of the model, while solutions designed for the well-being of all passengers, such as the three-zone air conditioning, the central refrigerated compartment and the rear multimedia supports, make it the ideal companion for family trips.

Both editions are powered by the powerful and efficient Ingenium D350 engine, a 3.0-liter six-cylinder with 48V MHEV technology, capable of delivering 350 hp and 700 Nm of torque. The eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive ensure smooth performance, while the hybrid system recovers energy during deceleration to optimise fuel consumption and support acceleration. With a towing capacity of up to 3,500 kg, the Discovery confirms itself as a formidable ally for adventures on all terrains in the new course.

But the renewal does not stop there. The entire Discovery range now benefits from updates designed to expand the choice and make each model even more customizable. New wheel options, such as the 22" Style 5124 in Dark Grey finish with Gloss Black details or the 21" Style 5123 in gloss black, embellish the exterior, giving it an even more distinctive character. The S, Dynamic SE and Dynamic HSE trim levels have been further enhanced, with the latter now including three-zone climate control as standard.

Beach Days, Road Trip and Snow Days

For those who experience the car as an extension of their lifestyle, Land Rover offers three new accessory packages, created to enrich the travel experience: Beach Days, Road Trip and Snow Days. The first is designed for summer days at the beach, with a cooler, sunshade for the windshield, organizer for the trunk and luggage rack for surfboards or canoes. Road Trip, dedicated to long journeys, includes supports for digital devices, refrigerated compartment and roof box, ensuring comfort and space in every situation. Finally, Snow Days is aimed at mountain lovers, with roof bars, side steps, rubber mats and snow chains to face all weather conditions with safety and style.

Alongside these, the Pet Pack, for those traveling with their pet, and Biking Adventures, dedicated to cyclists, both designed to offer practical solutions without sacrificing elegance, remain available.

Finally , the Discovery, the full-size SUV par excellence, remains unbeatable in its off-road capabilities, thanks to systems such as Advanced Tow Assist, which simplifies reverse manoeuvres with a trailer, All Terrain Progress Control, which maintains a constant speed even on the most difficult terrain, and Terrain Response 2, which adapts the vehicle settings according to the type of surface. The fording capacity of up to 900 mm gives additional safety even in the presence of water or muddy terrain.

Discovery thus reaffirms its role as a reference among luxury SUVs, with even more sophisticated and customizable proposals, for those who want to explore the world with elegance and authentic spirit.
