Maserati MCPURA Cielo Tributo 1926
Maserati celebrated the centenary of the Trident with MCPURA Cielo Tributo 1926, a unique car created through the Maserati Fuoriserie personalisation programme. The model pays homage to the Tipo 26, the car with which Alfieri Maserati participated in the Targa Florio on 25 April 1926, bringing the famous logo on the bonnet to the race for the first time.
The delivery of the car took place in the Maserati showroom in Modena, coinciding with the passage of the Mille Miglia 2026 in the city. A symbolic choice, which links the sporting history of the brand, Italian motorsport and the most exclusive present of the Trident brand. The relationship between Maserati and the Mille Miglia also dates back to the 1931 Tipo 26 C, the brand's first car to participate in the competition and class winner.
MCPURA Cielo Tributo 1926 is inspired by the colors and style of the racing of the twenties. The bodywork is in Grigio Lamiera Matte, a shade that recalls the racing cars of the time, with bespoke livery in Capannelle Red, Infinite Blue and Pastel White. The original Type 26 badge appears on the bonnet, reproduced as a direct link between the 1926 Maserati and the 2026 Maserati.
The historic Trident is present on the front and on the B-pillar in Pastel White, together with the Fuoriserie logo. The 20-inch diamond-cut Cyclonic wheels with a red surface echo the colors of the livery, combined with the black brake calipers. On the tonneau cover, the Trident in Infinite Blue and White combines the current logo with the first emblem designed by Mario Maserati in 1926.
Other details make the car a tribute to the brand's first race: the signatures of Alfieri Maserati and mechanic Guerino Bertocchi appear on the door badges. The Carbon Exterior Package completes the configuration, emphasising the car's sporty character.
Inside, MCPURA Cielo Tributo 1926 offers custom-built trim levels with the Trident embroidered on the headrests, heated seats, the Interior Carbon Package and a 695-watt Sonus Faber High Premium audio system with 12 speakers. The Driver Assistance Pack and the front axle lift complete the equipment.
The car is part of the Maserati Fuoriserie programme, dedicated to the creation of unique cars or extremely limited series. Each project is developed through a dialogue between the customer and the creative team, with the possibility of customizing the bodywork, interior, finishes and equipment.
MCPURA Cielo Tributo 1926 is part of the Year of the Trident, dedicated to the logo created one hundred years ago by Mario Maserati. Inspired by the Fountain of Neptune in Bologna, the city where the Società anonima officine Alfieri Maserati was founded in 1914, the Trident first became the symbol of the brand's racing cars and then the distinctive signature of all Maserati models.
