Aston Martin DB12 S
Aston Martin presents a new flagship model of the DB12, the DB12 S. Starting with the driver-centric DB12, the DB12 S develops intensely dynamic ultra-luxury performance, adding more power and dynamism. Thanks to exterior changes and extensive interior improvements, the DB12 S represents the new pinnacle of the Super Tourer.
Along with the DBX S and Vantage S, the DB12 S is the latest to honor Aston Martin's long tradition of applying the "S" suffix to the highest-performing version of an established model. This tradition began in 1953 with the DB3S racing car. More recent examples include the first and second generation Vanquish S, launched in 2004 and 2016 respectively, the Vantage S V8 and V12 models introduced in 2011 and 2013, and the magnificent four-seat Rapide S, also launched in 2013.
At the heart of the DB12 S is an even more powerful version of Aston Martin's 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8. Now with 700 hp at 6,000 rpm (an increase of 20 hp) and 800 Nm of torque delivered between 3,000 and 6,000 rpm, the DB12 S offers brilliant response, unstoppable acceleration and a top speed of 325 km/h.
With the DB12 S Aston Martin has carefully designed a series of detailed modifications that, while preserving the distinctive levels of refinement, increase the vehicle's performance and amplify driver engagement. Increased dynamics and performance bandwidth elevate the Super Tourer ethos to a new level.
Aesthetically, the new DB12 S reflects its significantly improved performance and sporty character with a striking new look. Starting from the front, the DB12 S is characterized by the new dual-element front splitter and the new air intakes on the bonnet, each of which performs a functional and aesthetic function.
The DB12 S also continues the tradition of presenting S badges at key points. In particular, on the fenders, just below each side strip. Featuring a hand-forged 'S' badge, in polished or dark chrome, finished with red enamel, it is a discreet yet enduring sign of performance.
The rear design of the DB12 S captures the essence of more pronounced dynamics. Aerodynamics play a key role, with the fixed rear spoiler adding drama and increasing stability at high speed.
The interior of the DB12 S features distinctive details that are exclusive to the main model. Among these, the most important is the red anodized finish of the knurled metal rotary selector for driving mode selection, which also characterizes the color of the seat belts, the contrasting seat surrounds, the contrasting stitching and the embroidery on the headrests.
Options offered on the DB12 S include an Alcantara® heated sports steering wheel and Aston Martin's iconic wings applied to the seat headrests in an industry-first technique using both embossing and debossing for unprecedented sculptural precision and depth.
The DB12 S is available with three different interior trim options: Accelerate and Alcantara leather, Inspire S semi-aniline leather, and Inspire S full semi-aniline leather. Both Inspire S packages include S herringbone quilting with micro-perforations and Alcantara headliner. The DB12 S comes standard with 16-way Sport Plus power front seats, as well as the option of carbon fibre Performance seats. Available to order now, the DB12 S is available in Coupé and Volante versions, with deliveries starting from the first quarter of 2026.
