The Vitoria-Gasteiz Airport is located in Spain. It is about 8 km from the center of Vitoria City. The 30 January 1980 a ministerial order that opened Vitoria Airport to national and international passenger traffic was published, allowing it 24 hours a day operation and, in the same year Iberia opened the Madrid - Vitoria route.
