Targu Mures Airport, known as Targu Mures Transilvania Airport, is situated in Romania near Targu Mures, the homonymous town about 14 km from the city center in the municipality of Ungheni. The airport was founded in 1936 and until 1969 it has undergone several changes, such as the expansion of the runway, and renovation.
