Split

Split airport is located in Croatia, near the town of Castelli, 20 km north-west from the center of Split and 6 km from Trogir. It is one of the main airports in Croatia, along with those of Zagreb and Dubrovnik.
 
Split airport was opened to traffic in 1966. Located in the center of the Central Dalmatia region, it offers air connections from Makarska to Sibenik and from the islands of Brac, Hvar, Korcula to other islands. It is also connected to the main European cities.
 
In 2004, the passenger terminal was extended and in 2009 work began on expanding the yard.
