The Maastricht-Aachen Airport is a regional airport located in Beek, Netherlands, at 9 km north-east of Maastricht and 28 kilometers northwest of Aachen, Germany. It is the second largest hub for cargo flights in the Netherlands. Maastricht-Aachen Airport cooperates with its sister company Maastricht Handling Services. In addition, is a shareholder in the AviationValley Business Park and owner of the AviationValley Real Estate management and development company. Maastricht-Aachen Airport is working in partnership with airlines and tour operators to add new routes to the airport's network of destinations for new routes that fit the needs of the Meuse-Rhine Region. Maastricht-Aachen Airport thus endeavours to provide a full service in the field of private and business aviation and is open for general aviation traffic. The airport is connected with European destinations.
