Aeroflot

Aeroflot is Russia’s airline and a leader in civil aviation in the country. Founded in 1923, it is one of the oldest airlines in the world. It is based in Moscow, at Moscow’s Sheremetyevo Airport and flies to various destinations and countries throughout the world, including domestic destinations within Russia.

But also Aeroflot expands its presence in Siberia and in the Far East.
 
It has more than 200 aircraft including Airbus A320, A330, Boeing 737, Boeing 777, Boeing 777-300ER and Sukhoi Superjet 100 planes. The carrier is part of SkyTeam, the world’s second largest air alliance with which it has expanded its network by means of code sharing.
 
Through the Aeroflot Group, Russia’s largest aviation holding group, it controls Aurora (unified airline in the far east), Pobeda Airlines LLC (low-cost airline) and Rossiya (mid-cost airline).
