Turkish Airlines launches new flight to Sydney
As of December 4, 2024, Istanbul - Sydney flights will be operated four times a week via Kuala Lumpur with Airbus A350-900 aircraft
Turkish Airlines has added Sydney, Australia's largest city, to its extensive network of destinations. With this new strategic route, the airline aims to make Sydney the first Australian city to have direct flights in the future.
From 4 December 2024, flights between Istanbul and Sydney will be operated four times a week with a stopover in Kuala Lumpur, using Airbus A350-900 aircraft. This new connection not only expands Turkish Airlines' presence in Australia, but also strengthens Turkey-Australia's relations by promoting tourism, trade and cultural exchanges. Sydney, the capital of New South Wales, is a global hub of business, tourism and culture, famous for icons such as the Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge, and offers a unique experience to visitors, whether for business or leisure.
