Thai Airways expands in-flight dining experience
"Streets to the Sky": Thai street food takes off
Among the main novelties stands out the second edition of the "Streets to the Sky" project, dedicated to Royal Silk Class passengers. The initiative brings on board a selection of dishes inspired by Bangkok street food, reinterpreted in a gourmet way. The protagonists are the great classics of Thai cuisine, such as Pad Thai and traditional noodles, available through meal pre-selection on long-haul flights from Bangkok to Europe and Australia.
This proposal joins the evolution of the Premium Asian Noodles program, which enriches the offer with high quality ingredients and refined preparation techniques, designed to enhance the authentic flavors of the Asian tradition.
Snacks and sweets for all travel classes
Thai Airways' focus is not limited to premium classes. Economy Class also benefits from new proposals designed to make travel more enjoyable:
- Rice crackers made from Thai rice, declined in original flavors, served on long-haul flights.
- Desserts inspired by the famous Thai coffees, designed to offer a sweet and contemporary touch even in Economy.
- Healthy wraps and snacks made with organic ingredients, available on regional routes in Southeast Asia.
In the higher service classes, iconic desserts of the local tradition also return, offered as welcome treats and revisited in new seasonal variations.
Quality, sustainability and identity
The revamp of the in-flight experience also reflects Thai Airways' commitment to greater sustainability. The company introduces products selected from responsible supply chains, such as single-origin coffee grown in the Thai highlands and award-winning artisanal chocolate, enhancing local excellence and reducing environmental impact.
A flight experience that tells the story of Thailand
With these innovations, Thai Airways strengthens its position as a carrier attentive to detail and quality of service, making the in-flight cuisine a distinctive element of the travel experience. Each meal thus becomes a preview of the destination, a story of flavors, tradition and hospitality that accompanies passengers from boarding to landing.
