Swiss resumes flights to Tel Aviv
SWISS plans to resume flights to and from Tel Aviv from 1 July 2026. In the coming weeks, the company will start the operational activities necessary to reactivate the connection, from the planning of cabin and cockpit crews to the availability of aircraft.
The decision is part of the ongoing evaluations within the Lufthansa Group, which has planned the resumption of flights to Tel Aviv as early as June 2026 by some of the Group's airlines.
Flights to and from Dubai and Beirut remain suspended. For operational reasons, SWISS has extended the suspension of connections to Dubai until 13 September 2026 inclusive, while flights to Beirut will remain suspended until 24 October 2026.
Passengers affected by cancellations can change their booking free of charge to a new travel date or request a full refund of their flight ticket. SWISS Customer Service is available 24 hours a day on +41 (0)848 700 700.
At the same time, the company confirms the strengthening of flights between Zurich and Delhi up to and including 13 September 2026. In addition to the already operational daily service, SWISS will continue to offer a second daily flight on the Zurich and Delhi route, operated with Airbus A330s.
The available capacity, also following the suspension of flights to Dubai, is therefore used on destinations where demand is higher. SWISS will continue to assess the deployment of the fleet and available capacity based on demand, airport slots, traffic charges and the operating conditions of the individual routes.
