Swiss launches "LXmas dalla Nonna"
Swiss International Air Lines kicks off Advent with the new social media campaign "LXmas dalla Nonna", which celebrates the cultural ties between Switzerland and Italy, with a focus on their Christmas traditions.
At the heart of the initiative is a Swiss competition designed to bring families together inside and outside Switzerland. To participate, simply use the airline's social channels: the winners will be able to invite their family members to spend the holidays together in Switzerland.
The launch of "LXmas dalla Nonna" is celebrated in Rome, in collaboration with Switzerland Tourism, at La Rinascente: windows and thematic installations transform the department store into a visual tribute to the campaign.
The social initiative will continue throughout December on the company's digital channels. The highlight is scheduled for December 17, when the winners of the competition and selected guests will participate in the Swiss Christmas Night, a special event dedicated to the magic of the holidays.
Christmas also on board
The Christmas atmosphere will also accompany Swiss passengers on the flight. On the Zurich–Naples connection on 5 December, St. Nicholas, a Swiss grossmutter and an Italian nonna will bring a touch of tradition above the clouds. In addition, the Airbus A330 HB-JHC and Airbus A320neo HB-JDH aircraft, renamed "Swiss AirDeer", will fly with a distinctive red nose, to spread the Christmas spirit around the world.
