Qatar Airways opens route to The Red Sea
Qatar Airways is expanding its global network by inaugurating, from 21 October 2025, three weekly flights from Doha to The Red Sea, Saudi Arabia's ambitious flagship tourism project. This new connection brings the number of destinations served in the Kingdom to twelve and consolidates Doha as a strategic hub for those wishing to discover one of the most anticipated sustainable tourism projects in the world.
The new connections, which operate every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday, will make it easier for travellers from Europe, Asia and beyond to reach this exclusive destination comfortably. With direct arrival at Red Sea International Airport, a terminal with architecture inspired by desert landscapes and designed to welcome over a million passengers a year by 2030, who will be able to access an ecosystem of luxury and nature that is still largely untouched.
The Red Sea is a natural paradise of 90 islands with turquoise waters, with rocky canyons, archaeological sites and one of the best-preserved coral reefs on the planet. The development plan includes high-end resorts, an 18-hole golf course, gourmet and high-end retail offerings, as well as authentic cultural experiences.
Some luxury hotels are already operational, while others will open in the coming months, transforming the area into an elite destination for travelers looking for regenerative tourism and exclusive lifestyle.
Thanks to the partnership with Qatar Airways, The Red Sea becomes accessible to over 170 international destinations , confirming itself as one of the most promising destinations for those who want to combine adventure, wellness and sustainable luxury.
