Qatar Airways expands its network in Saudi Arabia
Strengthened connectivity with more than 140 weekly flights
Qatar Airways has announced the expansion of its operations in Saudi Arabia with the resumption of flights to Abha, starting January 2, 2025, with two weekly flights to Abha International Airport. In addition, the company will increase the frequency of flights to Neom, going from two to four weekly flights during the winter season. This network expansion will provide passengers with more travel options and easier access to more than 170 global destinations through Doha's Hamad International Airport.
Connectivity and Tourism Development in Saudi Arabia
Abha, known for its stunning scenery and rich cultural heritage, becomes Qatar Airways' eleventh destination in Saudi Arabia, joining the cities of AlUla, Dammam, Jeddah, Medina, Neom, Qassim, Riyadh, Tabuk, Taif and Yanbu. With more than 140 weekly flights to the Kingdom, Qatar Airways is reinforcing its commitment to improving connectivity in the region.
Flights to Neom offer a unique experience in the "land of dreams", where you can live and work in harmony with nature. Currently, Qatar Airways operates two weekly flights to Neom, but the frequency will be increased to four weekly flights starting in winter.

Qatar Airways passengers departing from Abha will have the ability to easily connect with destinations such as Dubai, Manila and Sharjah, benefiting from the excellent facilities of Doha's Hamad International Airport, voted Best Airport in the World and Best Airport in the Middle East by Skytrax. Flights to Abha, Neom and other destinations are already available for booking on the Qatar Airways website and via the mobile app.
