Partnership between flydubai and Amazon Web Services
flydubai has signed a new strategic partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to enhance its digital capabilities and enhance the passenger experience through advanced cloud services and artificial intelligence solutions. The agreement reinforces the Dubai airline's commitment to driving innovation in the aviation industry.
The signing was attended by Mohammed Hareb AlMheiri, chief procurement & technology officer at flydubai, and Werner Vogels, chief technology officer at Amazon. The partnership includes a structured innovation program that will involve the entire company, with a focus on generative AI for flight operations, data analysis, machine learning and improving the passenger experience.
AWS and flydubai will jointly develop high-impact use cases, introducing tools that optimize internal processes, personalize passenger services , and accelerate the delivery of scalable, production-ready solutions.
The industry is at a particular time when cloud, AI and data analytics are able to radically transform not only the efficiency of airlines, but also travel itself. The collaboration aims to create smoother, more intuitive and personalized journeys for Flydubai passengers.
