New ITA Airways Milan-Munich flight

This operational choice allows greater integration between ITA Airways flights and those of the German group airlines, simplifying codeshare connections, reducing transfer times and improving access to security checks. In addition, ITA Airways customers will be able to take advantage of over 130 lounges around the world, while Lufthansa passengers will have access to those of the Italian company.

Symbolizing the increasingly close alliance with the Lufthansa Group, two Airbus A320neo ITA Airways in service between Rome Fiumicino and Munich and Frankfurt now feature the "Member of Lufthansa Group" sticker on the livery.

New direct flight Milan Linate-Munich
Among the main operational innovations of the summer, ITA Airways has inaugurated the new direct flight Milan Linate – Munich, active from 30 March. The route includes:

► two daily frequencies from Monday to Friday

► one attendance on Saturday morning and one on Sunday afternoon.

This configuration allows business and leisure passengers to arrange same-day round trips, responding to the demand for efficient connections between two major European cities.

For the 2025 summer season, ITA Airways will connect 59 destinations, including:

► 16 intercontinental

► 27 international

► 16 national teams

There are also 12 additional seasonal routes to the most popular destinations in the Mediterranean, including Greece, Spain and the main Italian islands, strengthening the summer offer towards leisure tourism.

With these innovations, ITA Airways confirms its strategy of international expansion, quality of service and integration with the Lufthansa network, making the journey to Italy even more accessible, fluid and full of comfort.
