New Finnair flights to Helsinki from Catania and Florence
Finnair is expanding its network in the Mediterranean and announcing four new routes to Southern Europe for the 2026 summer season. Starting next spring, it will be possible to fly directly from Helsinki to Florence, Catania, Valencia and the Greek island of Kos.
The first three represent absolute new entries in the company's network, while Kos (already served in the past with charter flights) now debuts as a scheduled destination.
Finnair will fly twice a week from Helsinki to Florence (2 April – 18 October), three times a week to Catania (31 March – 21 October), twice to Valencia (11 April – 24 October) and twice to Kos (2 May – 24 October).
These new routes are added to an already extensive summer network of destinations to Southern Europe:
- in Italy, Finnair also flies to Rome, Milan, Naples, Venice, Verona and Bologna;
- in Spain on Madrid, Malaga, Alicante, Barcelona, Palma de Mallorca and the Canary Islands (Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura and Lanzarote);
- while in Greece the destinations include Chania, Heraklion, Rhodes and Santorini.
