Iberia helps those who are afraid of flying
Iberia expands El Cubo de Otto, the podcast dedicated to the fear of flying, with four new meditations led by Ramiro Calle, one of the best-known yoga and meditation masters in Spain. The content is designed to offer passengers a practical tool for managing anxiety before and during the trip.
Aerophobia affects a significant share of the population: according to Iberia, between 20% and 40% of people experience some form of fear of flying. In some cases, it is not just a matter of discomfort, but a concrete limitation that can affect personal travel, professional opportunities and family travel.
The new meditations accompany the passenger in different moments of the travel experience. The first helps to prepare mentally before departure, favoring the release of the need for control. The second is designed for waiting at the airport, boarding and the minutes before take-off. The third can be heard during the flight, particularly in the most delicate phases for those suffering from anxiety, such as take-off or turbulence.
The four tracks are available for free on YouTube along with the other content of El Cubo de Otto, an original Iberia project made with the production company El Extraordinario. The podcast combines dissemination, testimonies and audio storytelling to help Travellers understand and deal with the fear of flying.
