flydubai launches two daily flights to Bangkok
flydubai expands its presence in Southeast Asia by announcing the introduction of two daily flights between Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Don Mueang International Airport (DMK) in Bangkok. The new service will be operational from 15 September 2026 and will depart from DXB Terminal 3, further strengthening Dubai's role as a strategic hub to Asia. An enhancement that offers passengers more travel options to Thailand and simplified connections through one of the main global hubs.
With the addition of the new frequencies to Bangkok, flydubai will increase the total weekly flights operated in Thailand to 28. Bangkok thus becomes the second destination served by the carrier in the country, alongside the operations already active in Krabi and consolidating the company's commitment to expanding the network between the United Arab Emirates and Thailand.
Don Mueang Airport, located north of the center of Bangkok, is one of the two main international airports of the Thai capital and represents a strategic access point for both leisure and business travellers, thanks to its proximity to the main urban areas and the surrounding regions.
flydubai flights will be operated in a codeshare with Emirates, allowing passengers to benefit from seamless flight connections via Dubai, with a single ticket, automatic baggage transfer and access to a combined network of over 240 destinations worldwide. The service from DXB's Terminal 3 ensures smooth connections with the group's extensive intercontinental network.
On board, the airline continues to invest in the travel experience: comfortable seats in Economy and Business Class, meals inspired by international flavours and an entertainment system with a wide selection of content available during the flight.
Flight details and fares
Flights between DXB and DMK will operate twice a day. Return Business Class fares from Dubai to Bangkok start at AED 9,000, while Economy Class Lite fares start at AED 2,500. In the opposite direction, from Bangkok to Dubai, Business Class fares start at THB 64,000 and Economy Class Lite fares start at THB 22,000.
