flydubai expands fleet with 12 new aircraft and reaches 135 destinations
flydubai's strategic growth continues, which in 2025 has already received seven new Boeing 737 MAX 8s and is preparing to welcome five more by the end of the year. Thanks to these deliveries, the fleet will rise to over 95 aircraft, consolidating flydubai's role as a pillar of air transport in the UAE and a global reference hub.
The investment strengthens the airline's ability to serve more than 135 destinations in 57 countries, opening new markets and increasing frequencies on the most popular routes.
2025 also marks the expansion of the network with 11 new destinations, including tourist destinations such as Antalya and Al Alamein, as well as connections to Damascus and Peshawar. In Europe, from September, the new routes to Chișinău and Iași will be operational, while in December the connections to Vilnius and Riga will start, strengthening the presence on the continent.
In parallel, flydubai is carrying out a major cabin retrofit program, involving 23 Boeing 737-800s, with a refreshed interior, fully-flat seats in Business Class and a state-of-the-art entertainment system in Economy Class. This investment ensures a quality travel experience across your fleet.
The company's growth is also supported by the hiring plan, which has brought the workforce to over 6,500 employees (+10% compared to 2024), and the launch of the new Ab Initio (MPL) pilot training program.
