Emirates takes Rio Carnival to 40,000 feet
On the occasion of Carnival 2026, Emirates brings on board flights between Dubai, Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo an experience inspired by the flavors and rhythms of Brazil, transforming the journey into a preview of the country's most iconic festival.
From 13 to 21 February, passengers will be able to enjoy special menus in all classes of travel. In First and Business Class, structured courses such as braised beef with coriander rice and plantains are offered, while in Premium Economy and Economy there is space for typical dishes such as Picadinho, accompanied by traditional Brazilian side dishes. There is no shortage of desserts with tropical references, including sweets inspired by brigadeiro and coconut.
The experience is completed by the ice entertainment system, with a selection of Brazilian films and dedicated music playlists, to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the Carnival already during the flight.
With this initiative, Emirates is strengthening its strategy to highlight major international holidays, offering passengers a journey that begins well before landing.
