Emirates expands travel insurance
Emirates is introducing Full Travel Coverage, which can be purchased on the airline's website at the time of booking or added after purchase via the Manage Booking section.
For Travellers, the new insurance includes coverage for trip cancellation, delayed or lost luggage, unlimited medical expenses and emergency evacuation worldwide.
Coverage also includes assistance in certain conflict-related scenarios, with reimbursement of medical expenses up to $25,000 and the option to extend your stay free of charge up to 30 days, subject to terms and conditions.
In the event of operational disruptions, including any airspace closures, Emirates may offer hotel accommodation managed by the company. If necessary, the airline can also rebook affected passengers free of charge, including on itineraries with stopovers operated by other airlines.
The service is available in several markets, including Italy. Coverage, conditions and availability may vary depending on the country of purchase.
