Emirates dedicates A380 livery to Grand Slam

The company celebrates tennis and is a sponsor of the four tournaments: the Australian Open, Roland-Garros, Wimbledon and the US Open

Emirates has unveiled a new special tennis livery, applied to one of its Airbus A380s. The design celebrates the company's role as the official sponsor of all four Grand Slam tournaments: Australian Open, Roland-Garros, Wimbledon and US Open.

The "Grand Slam" livery creatively interprets the universe of tennis: each tournament is represented within a circle inspired by the tennis ball, declined in the symbolic colors of the individual competitions. From the summer blue of the Australian Open to the red of the clay of Roland-Garros, to the green and purple of Wimbledon and the yellow-blue of the US Open, the result is an instantly recognisable A380, designed to speak to passengers and sports fans around the world.

The first flight with the new livery landed in Melbourne on the occasion of the start of the first Grand Slam of the season. In the coming years, the aircraft will continue to operate on intercontinental routes to destinations such as Houston and São Paulo, bringing to the skies a message that combines travel and sporting values such as respect, determination and resilience.

The initiative is part of a broad and transversal sponsorship strategy. In addition to tennis, Emirates is active in numerous disciplines, from equestrian competitions and international golf to cricket, sailing and basketball, and professional cycling. The "fly better" brand also accompanies some of the most important European and international football clubs, strengthening the company's global visibility and its connection with millions of fans and Travellers.
