Emirates brings the spirit of Wimbledon on board
Until 12 July, Emirates is taking passengers in the spirit of Wimbledon directly on board as the Official Airline Partner of The Championships. On flights between Dubai and the United Kingdom, in all classes of travel, the tournament enters the menu and entertainment, while on the ground the company strengthens its presence near the All England Lawn Tennis Club.
Strawberries and cream at 40,000 feet
Strawberries, the gastronomic symbol of the tournament, are the star of the in-flight desserts: in First Class a honey cake with strawberry compote and clotted cream is served, in Business and Premium Economy a strawberry tart with pistachio sauce and strawberry yoghurt, in Economy a cheese mousse with strawberry compote and hazelnut streusel.
In the A380 onboard lounge, passengers can enjoy strawberries with cream or a Pimm's cocktail, accompanied by tennis-themed snacks, while the Emirates Lounges in Dubai and the UK offer traditional British dishes such as fish and chips and coronation chicken.
Entertainment and gifts for passengers
The ice entertainment system broadcasts the tournament matches live on the Sport 24 and Sport 24 Extra channels on all flights, along with dedicated on-demand content. First Class passengers also receive a complimentary Emirates Wimbledon 2026 branded seasonal towel, made by Christy, the official supplier of the tournament.
The Emirates experience at SW19
At Wimbledon, Emirates is setting up an activation area where visitors can take a photo in front of the Emirates x Wimbledon backdrop and enter a prize draw by scanning their entry ticket, including a trip to the Maldives for two with Emirates Holidays. Emirates-branded virtual tennis courts and the Emirates Cup on Wimbledon, available on Roblox, are also available. Throughout the tournament, Emirates cabin crew is on site to welcome international audiences.
A global sports strategy
The partnership with Wimbledon is part of a portfolio of sports sponsorships that includes football, rugby, sailing, horse racing, cricket, cycling and all four tennis Grand Slam tournaments. For Emirates, The Championships is an opportunity to combine premium hospitality on board with direct fan engagement on the ground, throughout the travel experience
