Emirates and the Museum of the Future host the first Aviation Future Week

Dubai sets the stage for visionary leaders and global aviation and aerospace decision-makers to redefine the future of the industry
Emirates and the Museum of the Future will inaugurate the first Aviation Future Week, which will take place from 15 to 17 October 2024 in Dubai. The event will bring together UAE ministers, senior government officials, and industry leaders from aviation and aerospace, air cargo , maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO), and logistics.

Aviation Future Week will offer an important platform for unprecedented insights and discussions on the future of passenger travel and traffic demand, air cargo and logistics, as well as the latest developments in artificial intelligence (AI) and extended reality (XR).

Aviation Future Week will include keynotes, panel discussions, and workshops spread over three days. The first day will be dedicated to air travel demand and airport infrastructure, exploring how airports, airlines, aerospace manufacturers and other industry players can improve the passenger experience through technology.

The second day will focus on developments in air cargo and logistics, with a specific focus in the second part of the day on the MRO sector in the region. The third and final day will explore the revolutionary potential of Web3, AI, and XR-infused solutions to improve workflow efficiency and service quality. The strategies needed to rethink existing processes through artificial intelligence and the collaboration required to upskill the aviation workforce by adopting and leveraging these technologies will also be addressed.

In addition to the main program, Aviation Future Week will also offer a rich exhibition of technological innovations in the aviation sector. Visitors will be able to discover new products and concepts and connect with industry representatives. A series of interactive workshops will be organised by Emirates and the Museum of the Future, with the support of Emirates' CX teams, dnata, Emirates SkyCargo, Flight Operations, Emirates and dnata environmental teams, Boeing and the Emirates Group Youth Council.
