Emirates accelerates on A350 and Premium Economy
Emirates continues to renew its fleet and extend its latest products, introducing refurbished Boeing 777s and new Airbus A350s to major destinations in Europe, North America, Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Australia. The goal is to bring Premium Economy and the latest cabins to more and more cities on the network, offering passengers a consistent and superior experience.
Among the most important innovations for the Italian market, one of the daily flights between Rome and Dubai will be operated with A350. From 29 March, the EK099/100 connection on the historic Rome Fiumicino (FCO) - Dubai Airport (DXB) route (active for over 30 years) will switch to the new aircraft, with benefits in terms of comfort, sustainability and efficiency. The schedule includes departure from Dubai at 03:50 and arrival in Rome at 08:00, returning at 10:55 and arriving in Dubai at 18:40 (local time).
In parallel, Emirates is increasing capacity in three strategic markets:
- Copenhagen: a second daily A350 flight debuts from 1 June, improving connections via Dubai to Asia and Africa.
- Phuket: From 1 July, the third daily flight arrives, with morning arrivals ideal for passengers connecting from Europe.
- Cape Town: also from 1 July, a third daily frequency will enter service, to support the strong leisure and business demand.
The new A350s will operate on these routes, equipped with the award-winning Premium Economy alongside the latest Business and Economy Class. By 1 July, Emirates will deploy upgraded Premium Economy A380s, 777s and A350s on more than 84 routes, significantly expanding product availability.
